Where it all began
Berkshire Pop Tops was founded by Lee, whose career began over 18 years ago in welding, fabrication and body repairs. Those early years built the foundations of the precision, craftsmanship and problem‑solving that now define every conversion we deliver.
From there, Lee moved into composite engineering, working on projects that demanded absolute accuracy and technical skill — including the construction of a two‑seater light aircraft, wind turbines, tidal turbine components, and a wide range of advanced composite structures. If it could be engineered from composites, he was involved.
That combination of hands‑on fabrication, structural understanding and high‑level composite expertise is exactly what shaped Berkshire Pop Tops into the trusted specialist it is today — bringing aerospace‑level attention to detail into the world of pop tops, elevating roofs and bespoke campervan conversions.
